Success Story
“You are awesome! My energy level increased and the people around me saw the progress that I was making working with you. My clothes are fitting more loosely and my confidence went from high to super high.”
You Are What You Eat!
Good nutrition is vital in losing weight, gaining muscle or sports performance. Proper nutrition equals optimum performance. Take the time to educate yourself on good nutrition. It will pay off in the long run. Good nutrition is a full-time job! Make the commitment not to diet, but to make a lifestyle change to proper nutrition.
- Shop the outer perimeter of the grocery store first. This is where you will find fresh produce, lean meats and dairy products.
- Consume your largest meal of the day after you work out or at breakfast. Never skip breakfast! Eating breakfast jump starts your metabolism to burn calories all day.
- Avoid food with "partially hydrogenated oils." This is also known as "trans fatty acid."
- Avoid any type of soda or alcohol. You cannot build muscle and the calories will go directly to you fat cells (stomach, hip, thighs).
- Eat 4-6 smaller meals a day.
- Consume a glass of water at every meal, and in between meals, for proper nutrition and hydration.
- Consume your protein and vegetables first before any carbohydrate. Eat only half of your normal portion of carbohydrate.
- Allow yourself to have the foods you do enjoy every once in a while, but limit the amount of high calorie foods and portion sizes at one time.
